Operabook was developed as a response to the need expressed by Opera Europa members for an independent and objective search tool gathering data from over 350 opera companies worldwide. A group of representatives of our members – artistic administrators, heads of casting and artistic directors from leading houses – led the briefing for our developers to devise a professional tool to serve their purposes.
Opera Europa has partnered with IAMA and the AEAA’s classicalmusicartists.org to contribute to maintaining correct representation information. Operabook is included in Opera Europa membership benefits
, and has since 2020 therefore become the reference search tool for artists and productions for over 200 companies
